Flash Websites Are Dead

You want your website to stand out. You want it to reflect you, your company & your brand. I recently visited with a potential customer who had their site built using Flash. Slow load times will almost always result in people leaving your site. Flash rarely loads at the speed of an normal HTML site. You have about 6 seconds to engage with your audience and convince them to stay on your site. If your site doesn't load in 6 seconds? That visitor is lost... Gone!

Flash websites are not mobile-friendly. 81% of searches are done using a smart phone today. If content isn't easy to view at on their smart phone, you will lose your potential audience. What makes a website mobile-friendly? Text that is readable without zooming, content sizes correctly so users don’t have to scroll horizontally, and links are easily clicked.
